Buddy's on the Beach

Went on july 4th at 11am. Sat down without waiting. Service and food was great. We had burgers and chips. Very good and filling! View and outside seating options are great. They have volleyball net surrounded by sand beach area and swimming spot... they were well staffed and startibg to get busy at noon when we left... they mentiined a boat parade starting soon to the table next to us... will come again if I am ever in the area.

We had a great time at buddies and not only just the restaurant but we both have to work it was kind of fun after a few years. The view from the front all over the lake is beautiful and just all-around great service we had a waitress name Laney and she was great.

Nice place for lunch. Nice view of Jordan Lake. My wife had a reuban sandwich and I had a taco salad. She liked her sandwich. She opted for asparagus instead of chips and said the asparagus was good. I chose the taco salad with a huge amount of ground meat. Not a traditional taco salad, no guacamole or refried beans, but it was satisfactory.

I visit here anytime I'm crossing the middle of the state. Beautiful Gem in a small town. The service was great now three times in a row. The food...oh my. Come hungry because it's a big portion or get ready for a togo box. Very consistent food coming out of the kitchen. I could order the same meal one year apart, and it would taste the same. Enjoy the tiki bar on the roof, the beach for swimming in the summer. Beach volleyball next to the lake or head inside for sports on the TVS or bowling in the back. They have it all! I love this place.

Location Location Location. Lake Odessa may not be where you'd think it would be, but in this case right on the Public Beach with a great view of the water, Buddy's has it. The atmosphere is very rustic, but in a tasteful way. It feels friendly and inviting. I ordered the Cowboy Burger (13). This is a 6oz patty with Pepper jack cheese, bacon, crispy fried onions, and bourbon sauce on a Pretzel bun. I ordered it medium. The burger came correctly cooked and was delicious. It was juicy and the meat was of a good quality. I was worried that 6oz would be too small, but it was a perfect size. I upgraded to fries (2). They were good, but nothing special. The person I was with ordered the Wolverine Burger (12). This is also a 6oz patty with bleu cheese, bacon, crispy fried onions, and mustard on a Brioche bun. It was ordered Medium Rare and was cooked perfectly. It was stated to be excellent, and thoroughly enjoyed. The Service was adequate. Not the best ever, but friendly and efficient-ish considering she was the only inside waitress. Food came out quickly and my drink was refilled without asking, so kudos to that. Overall a 5 star review. I could knock off a tenth of a star or 2, but that would be looking for problems vs actual problems. Would I return? Absolutely. Great view with Great food.

Awesome restaurant right by the waterfront. We sat outside and enjoyed a nice lunch with friends. Our waitress was pretty good, but we think she could have used some help. The olive burger is delicious!! Ice cold beer as well. We'll definitely go back.

Love it here! Great atmosphere and awesome service! Everyone is always so friendly! My favorite is the BLT wrap! Perfect for working and Mimosas!

Atmosphere food and drinks were wonderful service was great we didn't have to wait long to get in especially considering we had a party of nine we only had to wait 15 minutes. The bills were great and affordable
